Kalokagathia

The set of vases KALOKAGATHIA is inspired by lekythoi, oil vessels used in antique Greece. I took existing motives from red and black figure pottery and changed a few details to reflect the depression that is part of everyday life of every modern human.

The constant pursuit of success, happiness & wealth traps people inside the cage of depression. Shackled by anxiety, they give up on the ideal of a healthy body and perfect soul.
